What can I expect from the game experience?
If you haven’t experienced an escape room before then you should know it mostly comes down to seeking hints and solving puzzles. As the name implies the game experience largely takes place in a single room, but when it comes to these games the details make the difference.
First and foremost you’ll have to locate the computer of course, but why would something so important be located out in the open? Where would a Soviet spy hide his most belonged possession? And what’s this? You found a mysterious lock that can’t hide a pc yet must hold something important? Where could the key be?
That is the basic game loop of a room escape game. Each player takes an active role in exploring the room and finding out clues toward the end goal. However it’s rarely as simple as just finding one object among the four walls, and you can expect a lot of puzzles, keys, and hidden buttons to play a role in the experience.
And since it’s a cooperative experience, the best part is that you’ll bond and get the perspective of other people who will notice completely different things. So there’s always something fun to discover even beyond the basic game mystery with Maze Rooms.
